Yesterday rain, sleet and snow all added up to ICE, lots of it.

The phrase through rain, sleet or snow typically conjures up visions of our U.S. postal carriers — trusty, reliable, timely and dependable.

Yesterday our TitanTech Center came under attack from rain, sleet and snow. Nearly three inches of ice fell on our former elementary school. The ice was so heavy on the roof that it decided to come inside. The troubles only escalated when our backup natural gas generator kicked in to high gear. Cold, wet and powerless…

Still, as CEO of Titan, I couldn’t help but feel a warm rush of pride for our IT team yesterday. While many of us were relegated to battery power on our laptops, the IT team kicked it into crisis mode. With water rushing in through cracks and crevasses all around, not one local television station went without Titan Tools. With umbrellas and flashlights being used to move about the building, not one consumer went without TitanTV.com. Yesterday was a day unlike any other. True to form – trusty, reliable, timely and dependable – our IT team kept it business as usual…
